Sálo Project associates who average at least 30 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

MEDICAL:

The Sálo medical plan includes three flexible healthcare options available through Medica. Sálo subsidizes a significant portion of the premiums for our employees.

DENTAL:
Sálo dental benefits are offered on a voluntary basis through Delta Dental.

VISION:
Sálo Vision benefits are offered on a voluntary basis through Eye Med.

LIFE INSURANCE/LT DISABILITY/ST DISABILITY/AD&D:

Sálo life Insurance, Disability and AD&D are offered on a voluntary basis through UNUM.

PAID TIME OFF (PTO):

The Sálo PTO program allows you to build a reserve of hours that can be used to take time off for planned vacation time, sick time or when you are between assignments. In addition, PTO is used when requesting time off for holidays. Consultants accrue PTO hours each pay period based upon the actual number of hours worked during that pay period. Accruals are calculated based upon life timehours of service. PTO bank hours are fully vested after 500 lifetime hours.

OVERTIME PAY:

Sálo associates receive time-and-a-half pay for every hour worked beyond 40 hours in a given week.

401(K):

The Sálo 401(K) package includes multiple different investment options designed to accommodate the goals of any investor. We offer both a traditional 401(K) plan as well as a Roth option. Associates are eligible on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

MERSC:
All associates are eligible for membership in the Minnesota Employee Recreation & Services Council (MERSC). Sálo is a member of MERSC, which is a non-profit professional association that provides our employees with discounts and promotional opportunities at numerous participating businesses in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area.

TRAINING/CONTINUING EDUCATION:

Sálo offers cutting-edge career development training classes to all members of our organization on a quarterly basis. Sálo partners with the Minnesota Society of CPAs to ensure that training sessions address current topics of interest and qualify for CPE credit.
