Susan Wollan Fan

Susan is a former Senior Vice President with Best Buy and Accenture, the world’s largest consulting firm. She has over 20 years of experience leading strategic growth initiatives for Fortune 500 retailers and consumer brands. Susan was a chief architect and key director of Best Buy’s turnaround from 1997 - 2001, one the Washington Post called “the fastest turnaround in retail history.” Susan also served as the acting Chief Operating Officer of Retek, the leading global retail software provider, in its early stage through global launch. She was responsible for balancing the high growth and scarce delivery capacity during Retek’s infancy. Retek was later purchased by Oracle for $630 million.
Susan is currently President of Catalyst Community Partners, a non-profit social venture committed to revitalizing distressed Twin Cities neighborhoods by redeveloping vacant commercial properties and creating sustainable businesses that increase safety and livability. She holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors degree in Business and Information Technology from The College of Saint Catherine.
