Katie Imholte has a work ethic like no other. Since the age of 5, Katie has helped out with her family auction business in St. Cloud, MN, where she developed the tools to build relationships and strengthen her communication skills. While in college at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Katie served as an Assistant Controller at a small, private manufacturing company. After graduating, Katie held a Senior Auditor position at Boulay, Heutmaker, Zibell, & Co., where she led all phases of assurance engagements of SEC and private companies in a variety of industries. It was in this role that Katie gained a passion for recruiting, while engaging in the interviewing, training and mentoring process.
Now a key member of SALO Search, Katie enjoys being able to use the knowledge she has gained from the accounting field to better comprehend her candidates’ capabilities and her clients’ needs. “This position is really the perfect fit for me – I’m able to make use of my natural strengths in communication in addition to the expertise I have gained as a CPA.”

A big supporter of philanthropic involvement, Katie is heavily involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. She is also an active supporter of Common Hope, an organization that helps the unprivileged of Guatemala attain education, housing and medical services. Moreover, Katie partakes in triathlons and marathons, has a black belt in Tae Soo Do, and thoroughly enjoys traveling and playing the violin.
