Craig Dexheimer firmly believes that a company's employees are integral to its success. As the director of Operations and Administration for SALO, Oberon and NumberWorks, one of Craig's responsibilities is to keep all consultants and full-time employees happy with their benefits so they can continue exceeding clients' expectations and growing SALO. He also leads the administrative team that supports the organization and serves on the Board of the Minnesota Recruiting and Staffing Association.

A diverse 16-year background in accounting, human resources, and finance uniquely suits Craig for his job. He spent seven years at Arthur Andersen in auditing, operations, human resources and recruiting before joining a local fortune 100 company, where he served as a director of finance for the human resources division and an HR director for the finance and technology areas.

Craig continues to find innovative ways to provide excellent benefits and operations to the entire SALO community, a key selling point for staff and consultants to align with the company. "I constantly gather employee feedback to ensure our plans meet the needs of our employees as SALO continues to grow and evolve," he says. "This role is a key link to the business, and a solid partnership with the employees can have a big impact on the success of SALO."

As the father of two young boys, Craig appreciates SALO's emphasis on work-life balance. He serves as chairman of the Family Teams committee for the Minnesota Chapter of the March of Dimes, an organization that helped him and his wife when both of their sons were born prematurely.

"One of the key factors that attracted me to SALO was that you can work hard and be very successful while also having fun and maintaining balance in your life," says Craig. “That's ingrained in the culture at SALO and it's a part of why we have been able to attract such high-caliber consultants and employees."
