Autumn Mayer
Human Resources Assistant
Autumn Mayer first discovered her passion for human resources while working for the University of Minnesota Foundation. A mentor introduced her to the field, and soon thereafter, Autumn became the Foundation’s Human Resource Student Assistant. There, she was responsible for payroll and supporting the Human Resources Generalist. Curious about other areas of human resources, Autumn later explored recruiting through sourcing candidates for Securian Financial Group.
While studying at the University of Minnesota, Autumn discovered the enthusiastic culture of SALO, Oberon and NumberWorks, and served as the firm’s Human Resources Intern. After completing her internship, Autumn assumed the Human Resources Assistant role. She is now accountable for onboarding, conducting new hire orientations and administering benefits.
“I’ve been so impressed with the employee-oriented culture at SALO, Oberon and NumberWorks,” says Autumn. “I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work for such an energetic organization!”
In addition to human resources, Autumn is passionate about exploring different languages and cultures. In fact, she established the first and only Swedish Club at the University of Minnesota. Autumn also enjoys going to movies and concerts and attending Minnesota Twins games. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Development from the U of M and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Currently, Autumn is pursuing her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification.
