Erin Matushak is a great blend of what SALO is known for: she is highly determined, competitive, self-motivated, and contagiously enthusiastic. After graduating from St. Thomas University where she attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, Erin worked for Arthur Andersen and later Deloitte & Touche as a Manager in the Assurance Practice. There Erin gained industry experience in manufacturing, real estate, retail, hospitality, and construction. She also polished her management skills through supervising the firm’s engagement teams and leading educational training courses on audit techniques and accounting practices.

Erin’s love for recruiting started in public accounting, where she assisted in campus recruiting through assessing candidates and organizing campus events. Erin later left public accounting to become a permanent hire finance and accounting recruiter with an international professional placement firm.

Since joining the SALO Project team in 2008, Erin’s drive for bringing people together and partnering solutions has grown. “It is a privilege to work for a company that does not accept mediocrity,” Erin says. “SALO truly understands the art and science of the match, but more importantly, they understand the long-term goal: trust, passion and partnership.”

Erin is actively involved in the University of St. Thomas Alumni Association. She loves to spend time with her husband, twin boys and friends and enjoys travel, sports and the outdoors.
