MINNEAPOLIS, MINN., October 24, 2004 After merely two years in business with more than $10 million dollars in 2004 revenues for interim contract employment in the local financial services area, SALO LLC is establishing a permanent search division led by industry veteran Ken Heisler, CPA. The rapidly growing employment firm expects permanent search to generate approximately $1.2 million dollars in its first year. SALO's expansion from senior level accounting and finance contract employment into direct hire placement in the same space comes from demand in the market, say Heisler and company principals. The firm is currently conducting more than 30 permanent recruiting searches.
"Throughout 2004, many of the companies engaging SALO to find top quality financial services professionals for their project needs have often expressed the need to fill permanent positions," says Heisler, who successfully ran Meyer Executive Search for two years until joining forces with SALO and was a former Vice President at another recruiting organization for 10 years. "I've known SALO's founders John Folkestad and Amy Langer for a long time, and I have been impressed with their ability to become players in the contract market virtually overnight. We are all very excited by SALO's move into this niche and expect to hire two more people imminently to meet demand."

About Ken Heisler, CPA
Heisler is a seasoned recruiter in the finance and accounting area. A Twin Cities native, Heisler successfully ran his own recruiting firm for two years at Meyer Executive Search before joining SALO. Prior to that, he was a VP for a search firm focusing on accounting and financial professionals where he recruited top talent and ran the firm's search division for 10 years. He also spent two years at KPMG. Heisler earned a BS in Accounting at the University of Oklahoma and is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs . He is married and the father of three children. The family lives in Hastings.
