LEADERS IN CONTRACT PLACEMENT AND DIRECT HIRE LOOK TO INDUSTRY VETERAN TO GROW CLIENTS AND CONSULTANTS

Peggy Demuse named Managing Director of SALO Project

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN, August 18, 2006 A long time veteran of finance, sales and management has been named Managing Director of SALO Project effective immediately. Peggy DeMuse, MBT, CPA, will provide SALO Project's growing client base with the seasoned interim financial professionals needed to execute key projects within organizations. After 20 years in the finance and accounting field, DeMuse joins the award-winning company that recently won the Ernst & Young Emerging Entrepreneurs of the Year 2006 award.

"The financial services world is catching up with Information Technology sector in making consulting a full-time, long-term career option," DeMuse says, "and SALO Project's rapid growth in just four years underscores that trend in the local marketplace. The most attractive thing about coming to SALO to lead this division was its strong client and consultant relationships and an internal staff that was committed to the successful business model created by SALO's cofounders, Amy Langer and John Folkestad. I'm excited to become part of this organization and look forward to growing the number of companies that need our senior-level finance and accounting people and to increasing the ranks of those professionals. By having a strong management team and the best people to pick from, we can offer greater value to the many businesses that we work with who need project staffing or interim strategic players."

"Peggy joins SALO at a time when more people are tuning into the fact that there's a new way to work, while companies are embracing the same idea," says John Folkestad. "Her previous long-term experiences in the business world have given her great business insights and developed her outstanding leadership skills. She will easily lead us to our next growth plateaus. We're elated that she's joined our team."

"Peggy's many talents make her a natural fit to lead SALO Project," notes Amy Langer. "She understands our value proposition and how the current economic climate is ripe for both companies and our consultants for contract project hiring. We know she will continue to connect the best people with the right companies and explore new business opportunities in the process."

From there, she went to Ecolab, holding various positions in tax and finance, eventually becoming controller for the company's Caribbean and Central American divisions. Her next two positions were in business development for a staffing firm in the Twin Cities and then with Ernst & Young. In these roles DeMuse gained experience in helping clients define their employment requirements and worked to develop solutions to meet their needs.
